German Capricorn Group recently revealed their first vehicle, the Capricorn 01 Zagato hypercar. The vehicle is designed by Italian specialist Zagato and will be hand-built in Germany.
The Capricorn 01 Zagato price will start at EUR 2.95 million (pre-tax, ex-works), and production will be limited to just 19 coupes. It will then be sold exclusively through luxury automotive retailer Louyet Group.

“Our first hypercar to carry the Capricorn name is the result of many decades spent refining our approach to precision engineering and lightweight design. We wanted to create something that feels technically advanced yet refreshingly analogue, a car that rewards the driver with a direct, uncompromised experience,” says Robertino Wild, founder and CEO of Capricorn.
The production of Capricorn 01 Zagato is expected to commence in the first half of 2026, and other Capricorn-branded cars are to then follow. Capricorn claims that it is the world’s first hypercar to feature a Zagato-designed body.

Capricorn 01 Zagato Performance
The Capricorn 01 Zagato accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 360 km/h (224 mph). It is powered by a supercharged V8 engine that delivers 900+ HP (671 KW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque.
The Capricorn 01 Zagato is a pure analog beast, much like the Nilu 27 hypercar. With a mid-mounted supercharged engine, manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive, and mostly analog controls, this lightweight hypercar is purely driver-focused and meant to deliver a scintillating experience.

Capricorn 01 Zagato Review: In short
The Capricorn 01 Zagato is a product of motorsport lightweight technology expert Capricorn and world-renowned Italian design and coachbuilding company, Zagato. In a segment bloated with 1,000+ HP hybrids and EVs where software often overshadows sensation, this car harks back to the golden age of analog excess.
“This hypercar is not only about chasing records or following trends. It’s about bringing together German engineering discipline, Italian design flair, and a shared belief in what a true driver’s car should really stand for. The result is something that speaks quietly but leaves a lasting impression,” says Robertino Wild, founder and CEO of Capricorn.
