Following the debut of Audi E SUV concept at the Guangzhou Auto Show, Audi officially unveiled the exterior design of its second model, the AUDI E7X. To be available only in China, this large electric SUV showcases AUDI’s commitment to the Chinese luxury electric vehicle market.
The Audi E7X is scheduled to officially debut at the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition and most likely be launched in the first half of 2026.

“The Audi E7X is an uncompromising SUV. Its confident stance, dynamic proportions, and forward-looking design blend together to achieve a perfect balance between emotional expression and everyday practicality, creating an SUV that users will fall in love with at first sight,” said Song Feiming, CEO of the Audi-SAIC cooperation project.

AUDI E7X Specifications
The vehicle’s acceleration and top speed have not yet been revealed but will be available in two power options with a single-motor RWD and a dual-motor AWD. The single motor will offer 402 HP (300 kW) of power and 500 Nm of torque, while the dual motor will offer 670 HP (500 kW) of power and 800 Nm of torque. According to Audi, it will offer a precise balance of agility, stability, and handling experience to users.
The AUDI E7X dimensions are 5,049 mm in length, 2,002 mm in width, and 1,708 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 3,060 mm ensures a spacious interior.

AUDI E7X Design that Stands Out
The design language of the AUDI E7X follows the DNA of its first car, the AUDI E5 Sportback. With its signature ring headlights at the front and rear, the Audi E7X looks bold and futuristic. The vertically arranged digital matrix LED headlights feature high-resolution projection and scene communication capabilities.

With flowing lines interwoven with sharp angles, Audi has tried to convey a sense of dynamism even when the vehicle is stationary. Flush door handles, a roof-mounted LiDAR for advanced driver aids, and wheel options of up to 22 inches complete the premium look.

AUDI E7X Review: In short
Developed in partnership with Chinese automotive giant SAIC, the AUDI E7X electric SUV is tailored for tech-savvy Chinese buyers, blending German engineering with local digital prowess. It’s part of Audi’s dual-brand strategy in the world’s largest EV market.

Though much of the vehicle’s technical specifications and interior look are still under cover, the E7X looks ready to expand the customer base for Audi’s AUDI brand in China.
With the success of its first model, the AUDI E5 Sportback, Audi’s AUDI brand will now expand further into the luxury pure electric SUV market. Unfortunately you’ll never drive it, unless you are in China.
