Below, we dive into the details of each vehicle, including their specifications and design features, based on the information available so far. While none of these concept cars are confirmed for production yet, we may see some of their design language and innovative features incorporated in future Genesis models.
“We aim to seize this opportunity as a launchpad for a new decade, showcasing models that embody Genesis’ pursuit of high-performance technology and future luxury design,” Mike Song, Global Head of Genesis.
Genesis X Gran Equator Concept
The X Gran Equator is Genesis’s first adventure vehicle concept. Revealed at the New York show in April 2025, the X Gran Equator Concept is a bold, elegant, and rugged off-road SUV that blends luxury with adventure.
Its name draws inspiration from “Equator,” which is known as the finest stallion among Arabian horses. The X Gran Equator concept has been made to reflect the same spirit of an Arabian stallion—elegance, agility, endurance, natural grace, and power.
The Genesis X Gran Equator Concept has bold, striking, and adventurous looks targeting thrill seekers. It features a long hood, clean lines, a sleek cabin, Genesis’s signature two-line headlamps, a split-opening tailgate, and large 24-inch wheels. At the center of X Gran Equator’s spacious interior is a four-circle display, a combination of both analog and digital technologies. It also offers swiveling front seats, four individual moonroofs, and a modular storage solution to enhance practicality.
Not many details have been revealed on its power and performance data so far.
Genesis X Gran Berlinetta and X Gran Racer Concept
The X Gran Berlinetta Concept debuted with action at the renowned Bathurst track in Australia in February 2025 after being first unveiled in December 2023. The X Gran Berlinetta has been extended to the X Gran Racer Concept, pushing performance to new heights, and the two vehicles showcase the brand’s passion for motorsports and the Vision Gran Turismo series.
As part of Genesis’s high-performance Magma family, its orange color represents Korea’s volcanoes and the emotion, passion, and vibrancy of its culture. It also embodies the high-performance spirit of the Genesis brand.
The vehicle designs feature an aerodynamic wide-stance design, crest grille, Genesis signature two-line lights running all sides, an elliptical concave rear, and a large wing in the case of the X Gran Racer Concept.
The interior has been designed keeping the driver in mind. The Genesis X Gran Racer features a digital panoramic interface for displaying racing data, a Formula 1-style yoke, steer-by-wire grip command, and carbon fiber accents throughout the interior that not only help to reduce weight but also enhance its sporty nature.
Both vehicles are powered by a front mid-mounted Lambda 11 V6 engine. The Genesis X Gran Berlinetta concept produces 1,071 HP and 986 lb-ft of torque, while the Genesis X Gran Racer concept produces 1,540 HP and 1,015 lb-ft of torque, making the vehicle capable of reaching over 400 km/h speed.

Genesis X Gran Coupe and X Gran Convertible Concept
Both vehicles were revealed at the Seoul Mobility Show in April 2025 and are derivatives of the brand’s flagship model, the Genesis G90. Though no powertrain specifications were revealed, they would most likely have the same 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine from the Genesis G90.
Both vehicles feature a low, wide stance; large air intakes; sculpted 3D grille mesh; an elongated hood; iconic two-line headlights extending to the fenders and back; and frameless windows creating a sporty and dynamic silhouette.
The X Gran Coupe Concept took inspiration from the Mediterranean olive trees. Its dark green exterior has an interior in olive wood veneer, olive leaf motifs, and leather tanned using olive oil.
The open-top Genesis X Gran Convertible Concept is inspired by European wines, with the exterior color reminiscent of pressed grapes and the interior color reminiscent of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from Italy.

Genesis X Gran Concept Series: In short
The Genesis X Gran Concept Series showcases the brand’s vision for luxury, performance, and adventure. The hypercar-inspired X Gran Berlinetta/Racer, the elegant X Gran Coupe/Convertible, and the rugged X Gran Equator—each vehicle pushing the boundaries of design and technology.
While none of these concepts have been confirmed for production by Genesis, we may still see some of these technologies being incorporated in future Genesis or Hyundai models.
“We want to be recognized as a luxury brand that builds authentic connections with customers. It’s not about selling one million or two million cars a year. We’re dedicated to building the brand in our own unique way — the Genesis way,” Mike Song, Global Head of Genesis
