The Kia Vision Meta Turismo is a concept car that was unveiled on the eve of Kia’s 80th anniversary. It is a four-door fastback GT sedan that channels the soul of 1960s long-distance touring cars.
“The Vision Meta Turismo embodies Kia’s vision that integrates dynamic mobility and human-centered spaces. It is an expression of Kia’s commitment to continually bring technologically advanced mobility and experiences that engage, stimulate, and inspire,” says Karim Habib, Executive Vice President and Head of Kia Global Design.

Kia Vision Meta Turismo Futuristic Design
The exterior design reflects Kia’s design philosophy, ‘Opposites United.’ The front fascia has a predatory stare, dominated by split headlights flanked by a slender LED strip that doubles down to the rear-facing camera.

Short front and rear overhangs provide an aerodynamic grace, while the slanted windshield seamlessly merges into a panoramic roof.

At the rear, geometric taillights and bold lines promise not just to turn heads.

Step inside, and the magic intensifies. This isn’t a car; it’s a lounge on wheels. No sprawling touchscreen but instead a full-width augmented-reality head-up display (AR HUD). The AR HUD integrates smart glass into the vehicle, enabling drivers to view virtual graphics as if they are floating above the road in three dimensions.

At the helm is a yoke-style steering wheel augmented with an intuitive voice command interface. The front seats are like molded race shells, while the rear seats are meant to cradle you in opulent comfort.

Kia Vision Meta Turismo Concept Review
Though nothing has been revealed by Kia regarding its powertrain if it ever sees the green light, it does highlight Kia’s EV future. Rumors also suggest that it could be the spiritual heir to the Kia Stinger GT, the rear-drive rebel that blended Korean ingenuity with American muscle.
The Kia Vision Meta Turismo Concept is a testament to a brand that’s outgrown its underdog status and a glimpse into Kia’s future of mobility.
