The new 2026 Mercedes GLC EV, or the “GLC with EQ Technology,” made its world premiere on the 7th of Sep, 2025, at the IAA MOBILITY exhibition in Munich, Germany. It’s the first vehicle from Mercedes-Benz to feature the brand’s new design language, named “Sensual Purity.”

The Mercedes GLC EV boasts an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 210 km/h. It’s powered by a 483 HP motor and offers a maximum WLTP driving range of 713 km.
With a length of 4,845 mm and a wheelbase of 2,972 mm, it offers a spacious cabin with a maximum cargo space of 1,766 liters. It can also tow up to 2.4 tons, making it ideal for large caravans, boats, or trailers.

Design language named “Sensual Purity”
The Mercedes GLC EV most striking external design feature is the redesigned brand-defining chromed grille featuring a smoked-glass-look mesh structure and integrated contour lighting with 942 polycarbonate backlit dots. The iconic star logo daytime running lights look very impressive. The new GLC is the first vehicle to carry this design.
The chrome trim on the exterior air intakes, large 21-inch wheels, flush-fitting door handles, large panoramic roof, and the two-piece roof spoiler only add to its prestigious appeal.
With a 4.5-degree rear-axle steering and an S-Class intelligent air suspension, the vehicle offers exceptional agility and ride comfort. The “transparent bonnet” function provides a virtual view beneath the front of the vehicle, which is extremely useful during off-roading and in parking.
Inside is an all new 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen stretching seamlessly from pillar to pillar. And it is the largest display ever fitted in a Mercedes so far and allows for the simultaneous adjustment of two display areas via sliders. Mercedes-Benz has already filed a patent for this groundbreaking technology.
The Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) integrates and controls every aspect of the vehicle through advanced artificial intelligence using extremely powerful chips capable of 254 trillion operations per second.
Another unique feature is the SKY CONTROL panoramic roof with 162 illuminated stars, creating a magical experience. Also, the Mercedes GLC EV is the world’s first vegan-certified vehicle with all soft-touch materials, like the seats, steering, door trim, headliner, and center console, as well as the carpet, not of animal origin.
